Worked hard all year? Time to plan that Vacation 🗺️
Pack your bags and your bookmarks. Watch out for possible changes in Chrome 👀
Hey there! Lili and I recently did some travelling this summer. I went out to Nebraska and she went to the Caribbean. It led us to want to find and share some star-worthy traveling apps that can be used for personal and business trips. Plus, there are some bold moves happening in the case of Chrome’s future ownership.

Perplexity Shoots Its Shot at Chrome While Google Sweats Monopoly Drama
It’s been no secret that the federal government is trying to strip Google of Chrome because they claim it’s a monopoly. This case has been going for almost 5 years and things aren’t looking pretty for the Chrome owners. On top of that, we were shocked to find out that Perplexity, one of ChatGPTs direct competitors (oh and let’s talk about the switch up they did to us with ChatGPT 5 later) has made a $34 Billion dollar bid to buy Chrome! 🤯🤯 Mind you, Perplexity is just a 3 year old company so this must be the craziest publicity stunt yet for them.

Speaking of AI…Have you heard of Mindtrip for travel planning?
Mindtrip has the familiar look and feel of ChatGPT but it far exceeds trip and travel planning by 2 miles at least. Inside Mindtrip, your able to get fully personalized itineraries, interactive maps and reviews, bookings, collaboration and more!
Or Gondola?

Alright, so this one is for the frequent travelers who love collecting points for every little thing on a trip. Gondola.ai takes everything you do in your travels and puts all the points in one place so you can see what you have and book better value hotels, flights, cars, etc.
And other travel tools:
👉 Travelperk - business travel a bit chaotic at work? Free up your teams and your time with preset policies and automated approvals, flexible fares, and complete customer care.
👉 Airalo - Ensure you have mobile coverage and save on roaming fees with an eSIM - available for 200+ countries.
👉 Egencia - a simple travel platform with smart booking, cost saving dashboards, and travel risk tools that keep trips running smoothly.
//INSIGHTS//UPDATES
Last week ChatGPT blindsided us with ChatGPT 5 and removed the other versions we’ve grown to love and not love. Then they quickly backtracked and added some of the other version back as legacy. 😑 Which you have to turn on to see them.

We love it when a community comes together
See this weeks finds of solved questions in the Make and Airtable communities and tweak to fit your needs.
❓Can you drag and drop records in Airtable’s interface? Yes you can reorder records in Grid, List, and Kanban layouts, but not with the gallery view. Here’s how:
While in edit mode of the Interface, click on any record to open the settings panel on the right-hand side.
First, make sure Inline editing is enabled. This allows users to interact with and adjust records directly in the interface.
Next, open the Sort menu and choose Manual sort.
❓A Make solution: We had a problem with extracting data from form entries that had deeply nested arrays of information. The only way we could get it out was with using CustomJS (free tier worked for us) and writing the code with ChatGPT. It was able to fully capture all the data we needed, and put in in JSON to be mapped to other modules down the line.
